This was our first festival after Avignon, and we presented a newer version of Don Qui with Sajeev. It was quite challenging because of the 14 hour ride--trying to stay awake on the road. Then, trying to be alert for the show. On the day of our show we were treated to a big 3 course lunch at a nearby kitchen that put everyone in slow motion. We understand now why the spanish take siestas. And it was quite a challenge to muster up the energy to prepare our concentration for the show. |

After the show, we met Sergi's parents and family who stated, "Finally I understand what is happening! I didn't get it before." Vicki told us that some ladies even cried at the end. Wow, what a compliment!
In the end everyone was happy with the results, except for me who was looking forward to another 14 hours on the road. I only wish we had a bit more time to enjoy the other shows and the beautiful scenery of Catalonia.
