Universo Teatro, Benevento, Italy

The adventure of Don Qui now leads us to Benevento, Italy. Yes, before our trip, we had never heard of this place either. It is thanks to a very passionate and well organied Festival that we were able to discover this hidden treasure. What you won't see in this slideshow is the evening where 100+ people packed into a common room of the hostel... only to discover that there were no alchohol, smokes, or even a cd player. So, in the spirit of theatrical improvisation, couple of people started to bang rhythms on plastic chairs. A rhythmic ensemble took hold including clanging glasses,

stomping feet, that evolved into a fury of sweating bodies dancing and cheering with the energy of 1000 ravers with 10000000 watts of energy.

Of course, there was the famous Michele's pizza in Napoli, the ruins of Pompey, in addition to the beautiful sites of Benevento. The local press wrote an article about the food of the festival even before the critical review of any play. Ciao, bella!
