We got back from the Grand Canary Islands with a serious tan and very little sleep. When you mix 20 - 30 theater actors from spanish-speaking countries with precussionists from Guinea Bissau in a remote island location for 10 days, it is guaranteed that there will be no sleep! Parties till dawn almost everyday.

All the artist and organizers stayed together for 10 days, creating serious friendships, and sharing each other's work with a town that actively went to see. The people of Aguïmes are highly cultured and really understand work that is intimate, and well-crafted. Thomas More would never have imagined this kind of possibility of utopia.
